Actually there ares differences from one country to another. Mc desserts and milkshake are really good in France, they were awful in Canada (a lot more sugary, especially the milk shake, seriously disgusting). As well the beef comes from France (we don't want your mad cow anymore mprin ! lol ).
I usually take Filet o Fish, never found a difference for that burger, taste the same everywhere so far.

However there is a price difference here in China between Mc's. The one near Nanping Jie is cheaper(Filet O fish 19 kuai there, 25 in Carrefour Nanping jie's Mc).

Forums > Living in Kunming > Visa medical

Thanx, I have already asked Taiwan, I am waiting for their answer, but I am pretty sure it's gonna be fine for them.
The problem is I am not sure if this particular clinic is doing for other visa than chinese.

I will need to do a medical check for a visa, but for Taiwan, not China (working visa).

Is this clinic doing only medical check for Chinese visa or you can go there for visa of other countries as well ?

Forums > Study > MA studies in China - corruption?

I don't see why a good student would have to bribe teachers. University in China is quite easy compares to what we are asked in our countries.
This kind of things apply to bad students who don't study and still want to pass the exam; they of course have to give some red envelopes and the teacher will be glad to give them a 90/100 even if they have never show up in class for the whole year.

The food is really good, went there with 3 friends, all of us ordered different things and all of us were amazed by the food quality.

However, there is a huge problem with Silver Spoon: it's never open!

How those guys can do business? I have tried to go back there many times (I work in the area), ever the restaurant was closed (their closing day is Monday, but they are closed on Tuesday, Wednesday...) or they are open but nobody works at the kitchen so they can't do food.
You really wonder if there is someone managing this place. I feel like the staff open and/or work only when they want to.

The location is not really good, nothing around and the "terrace" is not comfortable or convenient...
The menu there is better than the menu at Beichen (still not many vegetarian options though...) but the service was AWFUL.
O'reilly's Beichen has a nice and polite staff but we were served by unprofessional and rude waitresses at green lake.

Took forever to get the food, mistakes with the beers order and even our Chinese friends were shocked by the rudeness of the staff and started complaining about it.

Really overpriced.
The food is ok, but the portions are really small. You will leave the place still hungry but your wallet will be empty seriously.

Been there many times for bkfst, lunch or dinner. The food is good, the pasta are specially awesome, but as someone else said, avoid the pizza.
The service is usually good and the staff nice, however my friends and I were extremely disappointed by the staff's attitude the last time we went.

Prague cafe usually serves until late (9pm) and close late as well (11 pm or later). We went there for my birthday, it took forever to get served (we waited for one hour for some of the dishes, nobody was served at the same time so we had to eat separately) while the restaurant wasn't busy at all, But the worst was that the waiters literally kicked us out at 9:30pm in a quite rude way.
We were extremely surprised since it doesn't close that early usually, so we went for a last drink to Oreilly's instead. Few minutes later, the whole staff from Prague cafe went to Oreilly's as well for a get-together.

This is really unprofessional, if the restaurant was really closing sooner on that day, they should have told us from the beginning instead of kicking us out that way. I supposed the managers were not here that night, so the staff decided to close earlier for partying. Unreal.

I have never tried BK (in any country) before, I totally thought it would be like Mc.
But it is sooooooo expensive ! Seriously, you can have a full combo at MC for the price of the single burger in BK ! We were quite surprised about that with my friends.
Beside this, I have to say the burger was better than in Mc (but the fries portion smaller), the location is good and the place was clean.

But definitely too expensive for a fast-food restaurant.
