@Spartans
It's a personal choice for the parents. Millions upon Millions have had it done and it's no big deal. There are pros and cons to most everything. Good luck to the OP in whatever you decide to do.

Doesn't seem to be a big deal to me either, but note that few seem to choose to have it done to themselves.
Without medical indication there is no other need for male circumcision than a religious one. In a way it is strange that religions that claim that god (In any form you like) created everything, think that in his name we have to correct his work.
Modern progressive science indicate that there are more negative sides to male circumcision than benefits including a higher change of contracting HIV/Aids. As well there are serious indications that circumcised men have a lesser sense in their penis and therefore are more likely to have rougher sex / abusive sex.
How sad!
@Liumingke1234. So it's the parents decision? What about the child?
@Hotwater
Children have no say until they understand the decisions they make. That's part of being a parent. Responsible parents weight in on the pluses and minuses and make the decision. Again, it's an individual choice for the parents. You might not agree but that's how it is.
It's a disgusting antiquated motion that has been outlawed in some progressive European countries.
In the backwards societies this custom is alive and well, even celebrated and preformed with teeth, as well as adapting a female version.
It's the parents decision that the child often has to bear later in life. There is no reason to it what so ever.
In Algeria one tribe, related to the Turag people, blind their baby girls at birth in one eye - Believing a female who goes though life without vision in one eye to be more pious.
It's the same sort of nonsense that's being discussed here.
Ummm... sure Napoleon... that's a fair analogy.
Okay Napoleon. You're entitled to your opinion be it wrong. Ha.Ha. Again it's up to the parents to decide for the child.
I concur. Like it or not, that is the way it is. I am not aware that circumcision has been outlawed in any country.
