China tightens visa policy in runup to Olympics
Posted byI got a 6 month F multi entry inside china, but its still a pain, i must have lucked out, b/c everyone else i know has only got 2 or 3 months tops. I got it from a friend who owns a factory with fairly good guanxi, and i also have a late residency registration on my record when i was a student in Xiamen Uni.
So it is still possible. another person i know got only 3 month visa from the same method i did, and she has been living in china for over 6 years.

Kunming to plant 800,000 trees this year
Posted byThe media should be exposing the foolishness and corruption of the officials that initiated this movement. Kunming is planting 800,000 trees while people in Sichuan are living in tents? They bring these trees from the place where they were living and purifying the air into the city where they die. It's not helpful to the environment.

Posted byHi Walter,
Actually, you're not the first one to ask me this... I preferred to show the approximate original location rather than the replica, which is built north of the original location.
