To be honest, I can see why they have done this. There are more and more local cars going up and not enough parking. Add to that the fact that local drivers really don't give a frig about people on foot.

I agree with Blade. Unless you want beach bars etc, avoid Phuket. There much nicer areas of Thailand to enjoy beaches and scenery. There is a lot of commercialism and crime in Phuket. I also found many areas of Phuket overdeveloped, and badly developed.

Swedish design ideas, kunming build quality. i have bought lots of ikea stuff in the past, the furniture at #11 are poor facsimiles of genuine item. Yes stuff is affordable, but poorly made and overpriced in my opinion. we took a good look around and looked closely at build quality and walked away.

Prague Café (Wenlin Jie)
It might be worth identifying which Prague venue you are reviewing.
When I first arrived in Kunming I did a tour of Wenlin Jie. I did't like the look of Prague.
More recently I have used Prague in Beichen a lot and I like it.

It is more about dumb greed of owners. If their neighbour gets 30k they want at least that, and will let property sit empty for years in the vain hope of getting the higher rent.
