Forums > Living in Kunming > would you trust an eye operation in kunming Don't assume there is the experience for more complex precedures. The provincial hospital advised me not to have heart surgery in China, or if I do to stick to one or two named surgeons in Shanghai/Beijing.
One question to ask yourself is 'How necessary is the surgery?'.
China may not be the cheapest if cost is a consideration. Thailand can often be cheaper.
Forums > Living in Kunming > What is the average hourly wage? Sounds like you may be better off outsourcing your market research.
If you want quality, you may need to use a big name consultants like PWC or Nielsen (both in China) and swallow the cost. Some of the universities also may be able to do this as they have consultancy arms, but quality may be an issue.
Forums > Food & Drink > Lipton's Tea Pesticides are usually banned because of the effect they have on the ecosystem. I was working in the US in 1990s when they were trying to ban the last of the ...drins. These had been used for years on foodstuffs, but the effects of using increasing amounts of organo-phosphates on the ecosystem was ruled unsustainable.
Just because a chemical is banned does not mean it is any less safe for humans than those that are not banned. The opposite is also true.
Forums > Living in Kunming > would you trust an eye operation in kunming The problem with surgery in China is there is a lack of experience, and a lack of accountability if something goes wrong.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Getting a chinese driving license It is not too hard. I passed OK and I am not superhard study boy.
My advice would be:
It is not important to understand the answers, or even the questions. Just regurgitate the answers.
Some of it may seem 'wrong' just give them the answers they want.
Ditto Chinglish, just give them the answer that goes with the question.
There is lots of repetition so that you are not learning as much unique stuff as you may fear.
You don't need to get 100%, and it is multiple choice.

Posted byOff topic, but related to theme songs. When we watched terrestrial TV we listened to the whole theme, even if only in the background while we quickly made a cup of tea or finished off some other chore. With streaming, or watching box sets, we quickly FF over the theme song and titles. We are missing a lot of great music.
Everything else said by the last two posters can be captured within the idea that we no longer live in a society, we live in a market.
