all previous things + kunming hua, specially 50-60 old people in bus with their noisy and ugly voice. I never see in other Chinese cities so noisy and rude people in this age talking in bus. I dont know why but Kunming hua is so hard and not easy to listen for me. I love many dialect in China and in Yunnan but this one I hate...

1. street vendors with their huge baskets on the crowded bus during rush hours
2. people who ignore me when I speak in Chinese and address my Asian looking friend (who often cannot speak Chinese or has the same grasp of language as me) instead. Most of my friends here are Asian so it happens almost every day.
3. shop attendants who don't speak to me or only mutter in English an amount of money I have to pay while to Asian customers they say all this "would you like a bag" "do you have a card" etc Maybe I do want a bag or have a promotion card, but nope, they will be silent as a grave. Every time that happens I just stare for a long moment to make them feel at least a little uncomfortable and then ask if they can speak Chinese or I ask if we're in US when they attempt to say something in English.

4. propaganda talks that my university teachers seem to love, it's mostly harmless, but how many times can one hear that Kunming is a perfect spring city, Kunming people are nice and love peace and life in China is sooo cheap before going completely crazy?
