I would love for someone to start making Kabab again! It's one of my favorites!
I eighth this motion, I loved the box kebabs and went through 2 cards when they were here! They were as tasty as you can find (or tastier) than anywhere in the west! KEBABS somebody, kebabs! Actually I am surprised the Box hasn't continued the service... it can't be all that hard!
I heard that the producer of the 'Donner' (the big piece of meat on the spit) moved to Beijing. And that the box could not find a replacement supplier for the meat that went into the kebab.
I could have been misinformed though.
The lump of meat on a spit was bought from a wholesaler in Lijiang, I was told. The two Turks who actually ran the stand moved to BJ, along with their roaster.
I was led to believe that wholesaler moved first. But again I could be wrong.
Any updates on kebabs in Kunming? I'd kill for a doner!
There needs to be a Doner stand at Kundu. It would make a roaring trade.
That's surprising and creepy at the same time because I was craving some this morning! I wish Hong Kong was in walking distance from here.
Man ..I would do dirty nasty things for a real deal kebab!! There is a place in Seattle that i have dreams about ! Also real Mexican!!! I want to pour salsa all over myself ...There is this cafe in mexico city I dream about too, More like nightmares for this one!! Like every other night!!

We sold the kebab-roasters to german customers back in the days and at this time made the meat skewer by ourselves, because there was no producer in China. We were eating kebab for one week...
We still have one sample roaster somewhere in our company. ;)
If i go back to Germany, the first thing i'm going to eat is Kebab... strange i know.
