Been wondering for a while if there is actually a place here selling vietnamese pho, I had it in Atlanta and San Francisco back then good gracious was it good. However I haven't really notice any of that available here despite the fact that Vietnam is pretty close.
Actually there are some very nice upscale restaurants that provide decent food, some of them are well within the Yunnan University limit. There is one next to the exhibition hall close to the entrance of CuiHu Park. There is a small street going in, and there is one featuring traditional style building. They make awesome foie gras also. Sorry I forgot the name :(
As scary/awesome as it may have seemed, the drought is pretty terrible now. Quite a lot villages surrounding the city already have lost water supply, which makes me wonder when that will happen in the city.
