I also a bad experience with teaching english.

I started looking for a job while adam lanza made his shooting

i was hired in a kindergarten... then it seemed they would not make me sign that contract... until one night i received a sms saying i was fired

no dialogue, nothing... so i asked them why... they said because i didnt make enough games !...

i tried explain them as i saw kids were very excited and turbulent, i tried to calm them down instead of making games, by first studying calmly and repeating the alphabet as i was hired long term

anyway, i was shocked both by their lack of dialogue with teachers and how they envisage pedagogy: i ve seen several time chinese teachers hitting kids on their head and taking them quite savagely to sit down

also i think food problem does not help with kids energy

really disappointed but at least i was not shot

ja, the non connection between provinces is odd

i had china bank account but could not withdraw from guangxi. now i am here in kunming but i dont have the leaflet and they cannot find my name, they need my old passport number

it seems a lie they dont keep names of their customers

rather scaring. the dominant race does not seem to know what he is doing nor to apply caution principles

it seems unfortunatly many tibetans also do not care, for instance throwing theur garbage all over. last time i went shangrila, we spent an afternoon cleaning garbage around our master temple

i myself try to b more ecology aware and responsible. it seems that every act of consumption is bound to have ecology impact.

on final note, some tibetans believe that not respecting nature might irritate forces and create disasters. earthquakes?

Another economical/social tragedy

I wonder how one can accept systems or societies where there is no equality, neither in real life nor in chances.

But it seems the time for dreams of changing are passed these days. i hope they will come back and people will think of other ways to live in a more equalitaryan and free human society
