The health code now only have the green background. There's no shield. I wonder what they're up to.

Apparently also primary school semester start in Panlong is delayed by a week or so (for now).
I updated the health info on my phone this morning and continue to get the green shield as before.
I have not been to Tongde for 2-3 weeks, but last Thursday travelled by bus and metro under Beijing Lu/through Baiyun Lu station/passed Tongde, but none of my friends who I met on Thursday who also travelled through Baiyun Lu station the same day received the text. I believe it is based on where you live not where you travelled, as we live in Beichen (Panlong). The same political district (but several km) as the outbreak. My wife also received the text and she has not been anywhere outside Beichen for 2 weeks. NB my health code has not changed colour...yet. (24/8 07:05)....
@bubblyian
Is it not possible that any of those identified in the Tongde outbreak live at Beichen?
It's just a few subway stations away.
@AlPage48 Yes, but the map showing the outbreak locations (which is presumably where they live?) places all 7 in a small area to the west of Tongde....1.7km as the crow flies from me, but around 3km by road from where I live. The text message indicated
it was related to Tongde, but perhaps their travel history included Beichen?
Thanks Bubb, keep us updated.
Although your theory may be true, two people living in same apartment may not both receive text messages.
Furthermore, it was said one needed to be in certain proximity range of high risk/infected person with overlapping time period. If memory serves, perhaps a window of 30 minutes? So same place and time (much narrower than being in the area on the "same day").
Also, the recent outbreak isn't just localized in Tongde/Panlong, but scattered around Wuhua as well, that I know of.
My shield is back.👍
I live also in Beichen. Here shield also back, and qr still green. But got the message yesterday to do 5 tests in 5 days. For testing we understood you can also go to other testing locations. In front our 小区 the line is huge (over 1 hour waiting time), so we go to Xinhua hospital at 2nd ring road. Fast and efficient - only 5rmb. And yesterday afternoon it took me less than 5 minutes to get the test done.
There are now 2 "risk" areas in Kunming.
You can view these at ncov.dxy.cn/[...]
I have my browser set to translate so if you don't have that it says:
1 high-risk area
Panlong District Union Street Strength North Shore Community
1 medium-risk area
Lianhe Street in Panlong District is east to Wanhua Road, south to Baiyun Road, west to Panjiang East Road, and north to the area outside the North Bank of the Second Ring Road
