However, I don't think you should pay too careful attention to anybody who thinks 'the West' or 'foreigners' are somehow a group - they/we are not, except to some extent in China, where many Chinese, as well as 'westerners' or 'foreigners' or whatever, think we/they are. This leads to self-fulfilling prophecies and attitudes on all sides, which are made use of by those who want to use us for their own purposes, and do so all the time.
It's not really a very good situation.

agree. and one thing is common, the level of hate is in proportion to the level of ignorance. in britain the welsh, scottish, irish all hate the english. the english traditionaly are anti french anti europe, and there is always rivalry/animosity between different countries in europe. in some counrties that were in east europe they are on the verge of civil war. in america there is canada mexico and usa and divisions betweenthem both politicaly and culturaly. america has some anti europe feeelings and europe some anti america.
