Thread for questions and answers about the 10 year visa. This visa requires one to leave the country every 60/90/180 days - depending on how lucky/unlucky you are.

This is not to be mistaken with the Green Card - which is a horse of another color. I have yet to meet a single person in Yunnan who has received this Green Card. This Green card makes you a resident and you can legally work.
This Green Card is for people who have a business here in China or those married to a chinese citizen for more than 5 years.
Has anyone ever tried to get the Green Card by way of 5+ years of marriage to a local? What's the money requirement to that?
Also note that Canadians now can get up to 10 year visas, it depends on how much time is left on your passport. I got 2 years just recently
work visas and student visas are not changed, all others appear to be changed with the required documents still being required for M, S1 and S2 visas
Darkone - Please tell us how often you must leave or if you have to leave at all now that you got this 10 year (2 year) visa.
@Ocean
If you have been married to a Chineae citizen for five years and have spent at least 90 days in total in China for each of those five years then you are eligible.
You should visit the Visa PSB for forms and more details. Apply in the city where your spouses Hukou is for faster approval.
it depends but my M visa is 60 days multi entry. I can see that changing in the near future as both governments sort out the details I did mine maybe 2 weeks ago from with in canada
I got a Q2 in Canada with 180 days. Much easier.
@Alpage single double or multi entry?
there was a guide on getting a green card in beijing on reddit. its pretty much worthless, no one besides psb understands what it is. no internet bar, hotel, car renting service, airline, or anything important will accept it. you will still need to carry your passport with valid residence permit.
