Please Arrive 2 hours early to all flights in China - National Day

For all those traveling in China from now until National Day in October, please be aware of the following change in airport procedure. You need to arrive at least 2 HOURS before your flight for check-in procedures due to beefed up security procedures. This information was sent to me via work and was apparently taken from the ctrip website:

国庆期间国内各大机场提高安检等级
为切实做好国庆期间的空防安全工作, 近日北京上海成都沈阳长沙哈尔滨合肥等诸多机
场的安检措施均已升级安检升级,会增加旅客的值机时间,出行旅客请根据机场建议,提早更多时间赶到
机场,以免延误行程

1、 提前2小时到达机场办理相关手续,以避免在旅客高峰时期排长队而耽误行程
2、 随身携带的液态物品的容积应小于100ml,尽量将化妆品摩丝发胶洗发水饮料等液态物品放在
行李箱中托运
3、 随身携带的行李体积应控制在20×40×55厘米,重量控制在5公斤以内
4、 有抽烟习惯的旅客请勿随身携带打火机火柴之类的火种,机场隔离区专门设有吸烟室,里面配备了
点烟器
5、 不要携带具有危险性如管制刀具易燃易爆物品腐蚀性物品毒害品等或有隐含危险性的物品
如报废或破损的锂电池探险设备潜水设备野营用具等乘机

Airports Beefed up Security checks during the National Holiday
In order to ensure safe air transport during the National Holiday, Many domestic airports, including
airports in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenyang, Changsha, Harbin, Hefei, etc, beefed up security checks.
The check-in time will increase because of the beefed-up security measures and passengers are advised to
arrive two hours before their departure time so as to avoid delaying the trip.
Ctrip Warm Tips:
1. Please arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure time;
2. Please carry no more than 100ml of liquid in your hand luggage and put liquid articles in your check-in
baggage (eg: cosmetic, mousse, fixtures, shampoo, beverage, etc.)
3. Please ensure that your carry-on baggage doesn't exceed the weight5 kg and the size of 20cm by 40cm
by 55cm;
4. Please don't carry any kindling such as lighters and matches, cigar lighters are provided in smoking
room, which is specially designed in airport isolation region;
5. Please don't carry any dangerous goods (eg: controlled knives, flammable and explosive materials,
corrosive materials, poisons, etc.), or implied dangerous goods (such as scrap or damaged lithium
batteries, adventure equipment, diving equipment, camping utensils and etc.)
