Tomb Sweeping Day (清明节, Qīngmíng jié) is a one-day, Chinese holiday that has been celebrated in China for centuries. This day is meant to commemorate and pay respect to a person’s ancestors and on Tomb Sweeping Day, families visit and clean the gravesite of their ancestors to show their respect.

Please join us for this week’s Shuoba (说吧) and explore the meaning of Tomb Sweeping Day. We will visit 玉案山(yù àn shān), one of the largest cemeteries on the west side of Kunming.
Time: From 8:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M, Thursday, 5th April, 2018
Gathering Place: We’ll meet and Depart at 8:00 A.M from Tenwest Language School, Office 805, Carnival Building A, Linyu Road, Wuhua District, Kunming
Maximum Numbers: 8 people (First come, first serve.)
We will drive to Yù àn Shān Cemetery and depart from Tenwest Language School early morning at 8:00 AM
