Well I have to say that I have gained much more than social acceptance from being married.
Research suggests that one advantage is prolonged life. There are many more things to be gained.

Yep, it is about time the lists started going up.
I married my Chinese wife in the UK. Before we married, she made it absolutely clear that she did not want to stay in the UK, but return home to China; which is what we did. She is a good woman and we have been together 15 years now.
I don't know about now, but it used to be an issue. The work visa is issued by a particular office, that is processed in conjunction with the local labor bureau. This would be after an employment offer from a local company.
This is a problem. If you move to another area, it is impossible (legally) to hide this, as you need to register a local address with a PSB local to where you live. They would see that the visa was issued by another city. I believe that there is now a national visa database. You are likely to be flagged.
The only way around this would be to have a permanent address in Guanzhou, and then live in hotels or AirBnB whilst out of the city. Perhaps not legal, but not easily traceable, currently.
Advice to Wolfee, if indeed real.
Get a PI for follow the woman. If she is out to harvest a visa, she may have more than one man on the hook. If she doesn't have other men, this does not prove she is genuine, but if she does have others, at least you will know.
In reality, there are too many red flags. As suggested, she needs to get the visa issue sorted on her own first.
Also expect emotional leverage.

Great to know it is no longer dry.
Good review BTW
This has moved.
The cut flowers are about 700m east on Duonan Jie. The plants and trees are about 700 m west and follow Duocai Section.
A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.
Echo everything said by others.
Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.

Posted byI would guess that large infrastructure projects may be treated as state secrets. Sites may not be off limits (to Chinese nationals), but rather like collecting phone numbers/addresses, or using a GPS to map routes, it could get non-nationals into trouble.
