China Eastern CRM (Lack of)
By West Coast Wrench on Wednesday, Oct 12th 2016 09:58Z
For those of you who wish to gain some insight into methods and standards used to train China Eastern pilots I urge you to visit the North Campus of the Civil Aviation University of China(CAUC)in Tianjin.
If you walk the hallways of the first two floors of North Campus Teaching Building #25 (where China Eastern pilots are trained) you will find at least a dozen students sleeping in class, even more students mindlessly staring at their phones, or reading.
There does not seem to be a lot of learning/training occurring.
From my direct contact with China Eastern pilot students HF,SMS, and CRM are only vague concepts that are not presented to them with any professionalism or maturity.
Oddly enough in China many ground school instructors (80%+)are not pilots, nor do they possess adequate knowledge of the operating environment.
How many more China Eastern incidents or accidents have been kept hush hush? I know that many are never reported.

Jiang Chuan county, Lian Tie Xiang (town), 50 km directly south of Shaxi.
The bridge is hard to find as it's far from the main road, down into terraced feilds.
i can send you a GE KMZ file..
Peter99.
Trade roads were never a fixed to a single trail, the trail varied it's path depending on items needed or sold; although the most important reason trade routes varied their trail is the land's geography.
The trail on the west side of Can Shan is an easier route. If the caravan needed to go into Dali they had to climb an additional 600meters in elevation.
South of Yangbi is the interscection of the southern silk road( burma trail) and the tea/horse trail which is an ideal spot to collect tax.
In this section of valley from Yangbi to Shaxi there are many roadside temples which are not maintained.
BTW.....
This North/south route never crosses a mountain range from Hanoi to Lijiang and further north towards Lhasa ..
The Bridge with visible damage from the 2012 earthquake..
The ww2 airfield was still intact less than 10 years ago. The original aircraft parking areas, which are square U shaped mounds of earth 4 meters high are still there. Two sizes in separate groups, large for bombers and small for fighters. both groups are visible from the westbound G56 highway and google earth.
The outline of the original airfield is faintly visible from GE but has been transformed into a SAM site (surface to air missile) which is part of the modern air field / base a few kms away which is clearly visible from GE, fighter jets and all.
Many repeatedly asked the question, "Is there no local official to hold this important office?"
Canada's National Police (RCMP) rotates their officers in new cities and territories every 4 years to avoid corruption.
Maybe it's a thing of the future for China officials.
The law is quite clear, Beijing owns FuXian lake, while the managing of this resource is shared. Half of the managing is accomplished by the uneducated and corrupt local government, while the other half is Beijing.
Went the other night, it was very late therefore I cant coment on the food but it did smell very good..
Cozy atmosphere and very friendly host.
Will return again now that it's found!
Popular night market locations closed, ban appears permanent
Posted byHappy to see that mess gone. Parking problem? Move out of the city.

Yunnan appoints Hubei heavyweight as governor

I hope there is a change, much is controlled by few uneducated gangsters.
Yunnan's little emperors eliminates and blocks competition from growing which doesn't allow new ideas and businesses to develop.
Many sector leaders are busier at fighting/blocking competition rather than improving their own customer service.
