I'm in the Dali / lijiang area with extensive knowledge of back roads and trails.
I'm with a few friends from Oct 13 to 17, we all paraglide and explore.

If plans match i could drive you guys up to a few areas in my jeep (4000msl) and point the way to the summits at Baima pass near Kawakarpo.

We also camp a lot....

Aircrafts are restricted in the same areas mentioned.
drones are placed in the same laws as all other aircrafts.
"There are numerous places aircrafts( including drones) are not allowed for public safety reasons. State/Federal Parks, urban centers, rescue operations, forest fires, military zones, plus many state.city restrictions."

Good post Voltair.
We must consider the technology of metals being traded from Yunnan. We have an extensive example of bronze age artifacts as proof Yunnan was important in creating bronze during the bronze age and assuming much earlier.

In the past, high profit margin projects were easy to manage, but now with tighteneing margins they need to adapt which i dont think they can.
China is a very disorganized country(other than the top 10%).

I'ts going to be a long road ahead for them.

At Alien.
If anyone or any organization makes legit money in china they will get pushed out of their market shares or be victim of some kind of extortion.
Therefore it's quite reasonable to assume that any long term organization is related to, or is a leader in gangsterism.
