you'd probably have to put in the number afterwards, like on the jiankangma miniapp, or at the very least present it at the hospital. the fact that it's only 3 hospitals, and not every random vacc point, seems to show that they would have people on hand trained and equipped to handle these documents. perhaps at some later date it might be open to nonresidents as well. a chinese friend helped me ask around at hospital, and one can't get vacc'd under the table, and if could, it'd be useless, because it all needs to be in the system, so that one can use the vaccine passport. she said she heard that soon one won't be able to go much anywhere without it. so for people not able to get a res permit because of covid, now not able to get vacc'd because no permit...nice catch 22. anyway, those that go there on 14th can report if the res permit was required.

need to register thru a new qr code. for which need to have residence permit. seems it's either the thing that looks like chinese id, or perhaps work or study visa in passport that says residence permit on top. would upload photos here if this amazing technological feature were available.

doubt sinovac is any different.
called the panlong hosp vacc center again, they seemed to confirm that, and that even chinese people who haven't got first shot would be turned down now, only booster shots administered. said 'to wait'

it worked before, no problem. i'm not a new arrival either. i just tried with my older phone number, same result. anyway seems might be able to get vaccinated now, without app, IF we could find somebody with first dose.
