I never have irritation after either showering or shaving in Kunming. I use tap water.

hard water irritates some skin, so does chlorine. so does some cheap shower liquids. try using shower cream with moistuiser added

How about you go get tested and see what your actual readings for heavy metals really are - I recommend you get tested every 5 years and compare the results. I am sure most people spend more money on beer then the cost of this test.
