Hi everyone,

Do any of you know the dates for the 2012 school holidays? All I seem to find on the net is info about the official public holidays that don't last for more than a week usually. I'm especially interested in knowing the dates for the Spring Festival holiday, nobody seems to have a clear answer :(

I have had a similarly difficult time getting an accurate response out of people, but from my sleuthing I have gathered that the new year begins Monday January 23rd, I believe it lasts for a week or two, but for the University holiday break it lasts until early March.

It gives the official dates, but school information is not given.

Universities have complete and accurate schedules. I was always given one during the first week of class. Private schools may vary a few days.

Even the public school boards often don't announce their schedules until a few days before the holiday. Good luck with that!

Ahahaha ok, that's what I thought... that's Chinese accuracy for you :) Thanks for all the info though, I'll try to get a more specific answer from the school I work at.
