Truly - some of the things you come up with are incredibly creative. I couldn't make up your stuff regardless of how hard I try.

Suggest you solicit the gokm team for suggestions appropriate to your genre and submit daily to weekly articles or lifestyle interests to gokm for review (assuming you're serious), for potential publication.

Based on the pure raw emotions you tend to incite - it may actually be both beneficial and anecdotal for gokm to seriously consider your request ... in some manner. I'm definitely sure page hits would spike (which equates to google click revenues) - but can you maintain your creativity?

No, Gaoxing definitely should not seek a columnist position with gokunming. If we all knew, rather than merely suspected that it was a show, it would lose its appeal faster than a pop song by an American Idol shitstain.

Gaoxing is consistent & honest about what he is after at this juncture of his life. Though we may not agree with or condone GX's values, but at least we know where he's coming from and do not have to watch our backs when he's around (Unless if you happen to be a tail he is chasing).

I believe GX is not a wicked person. Wish yo'all would cut him some slack and don't ridicule him into a corner to make him suffocate. His practice of consistency & honesty, even in a strange way, should be a breath of fresh air for all of us, and that also makes him a better person than the chameleons lurking amongst us!

not to start anything to get pounce on, but it would surely be nice is someone can set the expectations of each side.

for now all i can see is that from GKM site that the position is charity meaning no salary involve. so its more of the love of doing things for the site.

from GX, he wants to be a part of the team but does he clearly know what is expected of him in feeling Dan shoes?

also its nice to everyone's opinion but GKM site leaders or heads should be the one to decide on this i guess.

Bluntly, we're all blowing smoke. The gokm team has already answered gaoxing's response with their non-responsiveness. I was only kidding gaoxing about actually working for the gokm site - but I was serious about him submitting articles etc IF he's serious about working for the site.

There is an issue of image and trust that plagues gaoxing though. Gaoxing is a self acknowledged poon-tang troll. The gokm site has some obvious social responsibilities both to it's avid readers and to the greater community. While confined to expat boards - gaoxing's trolling is debatably tolerable - it's hearsay and gaoxing admits he's been largely unsuccessful.

However as per MIIT rules, which comply with the general public security rules for public behavior - things which contribute to moral decay are banned - porn, gambling, substance abuse. Publicly trolling for PT in China is actually banned and grounds for expulsion - although I suspect rarely exercised these days. However - if one attracts enough attention...
