@kickkick:
I got the nanokey and nanopad there. Thanks! :) Sadly, they didnt have the nanokontrol.
@ Southsilksounds:
Im looking forward to the launch, and will set up a bio, and see if I maybe can contribute some.
@ seven.sides:
As for me, I compose electro-acoustic music and experimental orchestral /ensemble music. Im not much a musician, but a composer.
But I think others are looking for playing in a band.
i had a look at the korg website, they look like a cool little series. appropriate for a foreigner abroad. i had to abandon my midi controller along with all my other instruments when i moved here :( tempted to save up for some of these pups.
@PerNordin:
No worries. Did they have any left? How much did you pay? They're so cheap, even in Australia. Do you use Ableton?
@kickkick
I think they had 2 key and 1 pad left. I got both for 1050 Y if I remember correct.
I recently bought Ableton 8 suite (the complete, with the extra instruments), but not installed it yet (otherwise, I am a Logic user).
I got the Ableton and the Nanos for starting to gig. I plan to return to KM (I got home to Sweden last night), and try to build a career in China as composer and also having concerts.
Great to know that there are used music supply spots in Kunming. I figure I will have my hands full between teaching and Mandarin classes, but if there are any amateur musician jam sessions in town, do let me know. Bass player in the house!
