Hong Kong airport is easy with few choices:
I rather liked the old airport as landing whilst flying between buildings was a trip.
So we have to pay 100 each to get to the city... that sucks. Wonder if there is a cheaper way?

...what are the letters and numbers in red?
If you have time to spare... the airport bus will take you in to the city for around HK$35 P/P... The exact price depends on which part you want to go to of course. You can take the public bus (S1 I think) to Tung Chung and hop on the MTR from there - works out between HK$10 to 20 per person.
Thanks debaser.
Train is pricey but 24 minutes. Airport is on on Lantau Island. You could spend a lot of time lugging kids and bags

HK is not the place to go if you have a problem with $100HK train rides.

Actually the airport is on Chek Lap Kok island which is beyond Lantau.
Thanks AlPage, forgot that. Usually, I would fly to Zhuhai for a cheaper hotel, plus Macau, and taker the ferry over to HK for the day to go shopping. Only did one visa run to HK from Zhuhai, in 2002, when it was possible to do it in one day.
