I have been living in Chenggong for almost a month now, and I wonder if anyone knows of a good sushi resturant in Chenggong or Kunming?

I have only been to the Howard Johnson hotel in Chenggong, but they only served sashimi (Im more into maki) buffet for almost 200 yuan per person. Very expensive!

I found a sushi restaurant at the food court in Wangfujing. Not cheap - but good.

Sushi place in the Aegean mall on Guangfu Lu. I heard good things.

Peach Taste on the 6th floor of the new Kunming Guangcheng mall at Beijing Lu and Baiyun Lu is quite fantastic for sushi! Very fresh and very well made. My wife and I have been very impressed and became regulars. The place is also always packed so show up early before 6:00 to make a reservation. Sorry don't have the phone number right now.

Sushi restaurant really close to the nan ya shopping mall on Dian chi Lu. Owned by a Japanese family, reasonable prices, and SO GOOD! If you are at guang fu and Dian chi Lu, head toward the mall and it will be on your left.

Friend recommended the small sushi Japanese place around GrandPark Hotel Greenlake.
