@Silvio: if you mean blocking posts by name of poster, I'm against it - moderating content is one thing, although I'm not too concerned with it - but banning posters is another - suggest you just don't read posts by people whose posts you don't want to read.
Or maybe I don't understand what you're proposing.

@moderator: as I've said, I'm not one of those who felt any strong necessity for a moderator of the forums, but I'll accept it - however, please, you guys, don't overdo it. If a thread dissolves 'into nothing', in your opinion, I don't see how it's necessary or desirable for you guys to lock it - after all, the threads are for info, facts and opinions of posters, not those of gokunming, aren't they? The fact of the existence of a certain amount of BS on threads is acceptable to me.
I'm not jumping at you guys, just telling you what I think.

@Alien, fair point, some 'BS' is inevitable. But it was to a point of being off-topic for the sake of being off-topic. We will certainly try not to overdo it on our end, and trust everyone else will do the same on theirs.
