Hi guys, do you want to find out what is the Lieren Movement? Come join us this Saturday(28th) for a film screening and discussions to learn about the new social movement at Wheatland Bookstore in Kunming.

In 2020, the pandemic has stopped us all from travelling out of our own local areas. imPACKED Travel, a social enterprise that advocates sustainable travel, recruited 28 young activists around China to spend 30 days uncovering local sustainable travel hotspots. These 28 young activists have been dubbed City Lieren (Hunters); the character used for ‘hunter’ in Chinese - “烈 (Lie)” - has a relationship to the meaning “enthusiasm” and this idea has bred a new social movement, The Lieren Movement.
