Kunming Craft Beer Society Monthly Meetup
Ever wanted to learn how beer is made?
This month we'll be visiting Kunming's finest brew pub! Newly opened in 2015, all the shiny new equipment is on display for everyone to see. Dave will give us an introduction to what everything does and how it all works, as well as what beers he has on offer. The KCBS will offer everybody 1 free sample of each beer and then we will have an open Q&A session about everything related to brewing beer, including how you can do it at home! We'll also have a few announcements to make and discuss the future of the KCBS. Of course, we'll also have some home-brewed beers for everyone to taste!
Anyone can attend for free and everything is presented in both Chinese and English. The only rule is that everyone buys at least 1 Humdinger beer.

About the Kunming Craft Beer Society
The Kunming Craft Beer Society is dedicated to everything about drinking and brewing craft beer, mead, and cider in Kunming, China.
Craft beer is currently exploding in China, especially in the big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, but also increasingly in the smaller cities as well. Brewing is both an art and a science - understanding the science and appreciating the artwork will help you enjoy beer even more. It's not always easy to find all the safe and reliable equipment and quality ingredients in China and so meeting up with other brewers is the best way to learn what you need to know.
Our organisation is committed to spreading the knowledge, culture, and appreciation of real beer in China. Membership is open to everyone, no matter beer-drinking or brewing experience. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at a different Kunming bar each time. A meeting will include a short presentation on a brewing topic, welcoming new members, open discussions, and of course beer tasting. We encourage everyone to bring samples of their homebrew for everyone to taste!
If you would like to support the society, help towards beer festivals, get discounts on beer tastings, and gain access the imported ingredients co-op, then there is an annual (optional) membership fee of ¥200 per person.
