Reviving this thread to ask: Is this a shop that is open to the public?
I nearly cried when I saw that Laowai Paradise was closed down... but then I started seeing ads for this place on GoK. But it's really unclear if this is only a wholesale store for businesses, or if it's a shop open to the general public. Clarification would be great, please!!!
Girassol, if you are trying to get in contact with people in Kunming International Fellowship, I suggest you simply attend the service, and talk to the people there in person. As long as you are a foreign passport holder, there shouldn't be any problem.
If you are looking for a church for foreigners, there is one, called Kunming International Fellowship, which has Sunday service (in English) at 10 am in the Tailong Hongrui Hotel (泰隆宏瑞饭店) on Chuncheng Lu (春城路).
I'm a bit late to this thread, but if you have enough money to take a couple buses to get down to Dianchi, you can walk across Dianchi for free on Hubin Rd. The view of Xishan is terrific.
I also recommend simply walking along the Panlong River, either north or south of downtown, it's usually got a strip of landscaped/garden-y area on one or both sides and it's a great way to discover the city.
Hey folks... does anyone know the pricing for tickets? Btw, I think that that might be an important piece of information to include in review articles like this!
