Of course it's different... who pays for a plane ticket to another country for things to be the same? This is just an assessment of the city so far from my view..I'm a realist..So I'm not going to be oblivious to the things I see..It's not a diamond city..It's just another Chinese city with stuff for foreigners to do and have easy access to things that remind them of home.. that's it..

Dislikes-

* Men beating their wives in public*
* Sleeping police and security guards in public*
* The stares

* "The foreigner" overcharging of prices
* The construction

* SLOOOWWW walkers * ... oh, my god..

* How the whole city shuts down at 5:47 pm
* Lack of good manners

All in all, not bad.. It's no Portland.. but it's not Kansas City either..
