Did a free test at a shopping mall today. Whole process took less than half an hour. Result came in about 5 hours later. No problems.
No test required at Metro South and Walmart. Strict control on masks and entry scanning however.
When I BING Ginger Melon I get fruit melons and dolls with ginger hair.
When I BING 姜柄瓜 I get this pumpkin.
At the moment this vegetable is in season but I never found the name for it in English.
Since I cant post pictures here I include a link to a Taobao page that sells them so you can have a look.
Google translate comes up with "Ginger Handle Melon" but I doubt that that is the real name for them.
And since we are at it; what is the name for this one:

Posted byWho ones has been to Panzhihua will understand that Sichuan will be happy to get rid of it. Compared to Panzhihua, Anning and Kaiyuan looks like eco resorts.
I am pretty sure that by the second of April the land will be returned to Sichuan ;-)

Posted byProblem with "Black Taxis" is that they all have fixed rides during rush hour. They have fixed agreement with people to pick them up at home bring them to their work and bring them back home again and that all during rush hours. So black taxis are not the solution to the problem.

Posted byWith the limited amount of taxis in Kunming it is quite possible to make a living during non-rush-hour hours. I several times spend travel times exceeding at least twice the normal time during rush-hours. This means that more trips can be done during non-rush-hours thus the hourly income is higher (And the frustration lower) than during rush-hours. To remedy this a rush-hour surcharge could be introduced but then everybody would be complaining that things are to expensive.
