I know it's not a easy job to teach in a classroom crowded with 50 students. But unless you are teaching English major students, or the class size is usually supposed to be 40-50 in colleges. Anyway, now we are considering to "downsize" some to 25 - 30.
Unfortunately and predicably, the English levels in a class do vary from "Fine thank you and you" to Band 6 level (if you have taught English in China then you might know what I mean). So honestly, there is really nothing to boast about because our students are quite the same as other college undergraduates.
P.S.: about "Online Security", it's just my personal reason and has nothing to do with this forum or my workplace or anything else.

Treatment & Welfare (paid in CNY)：
1. Free apartment: an appr. 70㎡ flat equiped with furniture and necessary appliances like microwave oven, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, etc.

Sickness's advice is quite good~ I myself usually by things from taobao. But if u don't have a chinese friend with rich on-line shopping experience, I suggest u give up -- there r tooooo many faked makeups and facial cares in taobao. I've bought faceshop products in a small shop in Bao-Shan street, named "Ju-zi-+"(u can find it by recognizing the "+" symbol). I think they sell real things at reasonable price.
If u r employed by a public school, like a university, you must endure a long and complex procedures~
first, the Work Permit for Foreigners...
then, the Visa Notification to the Chinese embassy in ur country...
with the above papers, u can apply for the "Z" visa...
hold Z visa to China... get the Foreign Expert Certifidate...
and apply for the Living Permit for Foreigners in local public security bureau...
finally, registered in the public security ogran of ur living area.
There will be some one in charge of foreign affairs of the school to apply all these things for u, but it's also not easy for u to prepare all the documents required~~
But there r some good points of holding the Expert Cert.. like u can exchange ur RMB salary to ur country's currency, and usually no police will find u trouble...
