Forums > Living in Kunming > Looking for bubble wrap Have been searching for bubble wrap (plastic wrap with small air pockets) to use in shipping a fragile item to the US. I realize there's risk of damage regardless of how well an item is wrapped.
Tried the post office, Wall-Mart, and Carrefour without success. Also tried a large stationary store. Seems like it should be available if I just knew where to look.
Has anyone purchased this stuff here? If so, where? Thanks.

Forums > Living in Kunming > acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Just curious and wondering about the lead you reported on March 11th. Sounded promising. How did that work out?
Forums > Study > where to study chinese, advice needed. I've taken a whole lot of one-to-one Chinese classes and I always make it clear with the teacher that we will only speak Chinese. It's not difficult to set the ground rules when you start and then stick to them.
When I've become friends with my teachers and socialized outside of class, we have continued to use only Chinese then as well. Need to just take that responsibility on your own shoulders and then it will work out.

It's 收废品 for the people who ride around on the 3-wheel bikes 三轮车 and collect broken appliances. I'm not sure of the term for the smaller-scale "dumpster divers."

Posted byThanks, Sabrina. I don't think they are in season yet (in Kunming.) What I'm seeing now in the markets are 毛豆。
