The billowing Yangtze River was once blocked by cliffs and turned sharply to form a V-shaped bend, aptly titled "The First Bend. Here the river flow is gentle, and on both sides are the green hills, neat and uniform farmland and villages and towns in the south of China. There's a viewing platform for which 20 yuan each.
