Spent the chilly, rainy afternoon yesterday playing Scrabble at the Game Cafe. It was a great alternative to the usual options around the Wen Lin Jie area. Beers were cold, prices were fair, and the service was good. Definitely will go back! If they were to add Trivial Pursuit or other such knowledge-testing games to their selection it would be even better!!

Went there for the second time with a few friends the other day. Despite being in really tight quarters, the beers were cold and priced well at 8 yuan for a Qingdao, I believe. We went late afternoon and played with the chess board. Very cool.

The only thing I was surprised about was a 36 kuai game fee we had to pay the next evening? We weren't told that when we were offered the chess board... and weren't charged the first time we went. Needless to say, if that's the case we won't be going back.

Nice place, huge range of games and the owner is great about giving recommendations, helping people get started, and even playing a couple rounds if you want.

Decent selection of beers.
