Okay I know this isn't ALL Chinese women but:

I love the way they are always looking out for your well-being. What I mean by that is that for many westerners they would call it 'nagging'. For example, my wife always thinks I'm cold because she is cold. So she will get a sweater or something else and put it over me. This happens all the time and sometimes it could be a little much. They really can make you feel special. That's just one of the things I love about my wife and I think Chinese women tend to be this way (I think).

I've had western girlfriends acting exactly the same. I probably hate to be in company of women who act like that probably because it happened during my rebellious years. I met two of them while studying in England. One would be so over caring that before I went out she would shout from upstairs "take an umbrella, it's raining outside!", then she would come downstairs and repeat it as I opened the door, and as I walked in the driveway, she would open the front window, take her head out and cackle about that damn umbrella again.

I think as you get older and more mature, you tend to appreciate that kind of caring.

I think if your wife is in biz, then she can spend more time with her Blackberry. You can be in the middle of a deep and meaningful conversation that gets hijacked by the beep beep beep. And don't even mention the coitus interuptus phone calls.

I love "my" Chinese woman because we've been married 43 years!!

I love my Chinese woman, as she is tolerant enough to put up with all the crap I bring, my BCDs, and my angry laowai moments, etc. She has also been by my side during some serious health issues, and even though I can be a real a55 sometimes, she puts up with this grumpy old git.

as much as your saying that chinese women are more caring than the rest of the world, you cant take away that chinese not just women but also men being more selfish since the one child policy, not talking about their temper and maturity aside.

but chinese women tends to be materialistic such could be blame to culture and family upbringing. also tends to be pushy with regards to concept of men or being a man. like its a man's world you should be able to blah blah blah.

not anything against chinese women, but you cant take away their tendency to feel that they are the less fortunate such example as bearing a child for you, culture dictates as a chinese saying like they dont care if they get a good job as long as they get a good husband. good husband meaning has money, has assets and takes care of them.

if they care so much about building relationship or understanding a person and themselves as to what they want really at first, china wouldnt have a high number of divorce. usually you will see its security first then everything else follows. get that thing fix or out of the way then you probably have a high % of getting a good married life.

funny is about the part they can just throw the bomb at you of getting divorce or breaking up without much reasons or substance, im not saying its only in china.

i could be wrong but its just how i see it or my opinion.

I think that the younger generation women are definitely developing the 'me' 'me' 'me' thing as in the west sad to say. If you are lucky as JJ,Tiger and me are to have found a jewel in a Chinese woman it's worth more than gold. I too am a pain in the azz and I'm lucky that she makes me a better person by letting me see how silly I can sometimes be. Yes, we have a lot to be grateful here. Another thing that I like about Chinese women or Asian women is that they are 'cute'. Not only pretty but really cute. Cute wins me over every time.
