I bet you guys will get on famously. I tend to fight with my friends online as its hard to translate their little quirks or blunt humour when its in black and white. Off line, we are awesome though. I have also met people who have ranted at me via the internet and have got on with them famously also. Go figure!

Go on Magnifico don't be scared off because of online fighting. There are lots of reasons to go:

1. Very interesting socialogical experiment.
2. Crazy.laowai is a French chef. Teaching you how to cook amazing food is a great benefit to having chef friends (and subsequent eating of said food) if you become friends.
3. GoKunming forums will probably get less messy once you have both got faces to names.
4. It will encourage more people to meet face to face if they have an online GoKM spat.
5. Free wine!
