Hi,

I'm flying from Kunming to Diqing with my bike and it needs to be boxed. I'm pretty sure it won't fit in a taxi (boxed or out of the box with the box) and my flight leaves at 06:55 so the Metro is out of the question. I could get there the night before (slogging it through the station), but I want to avoid that if poss. I've been recommended an app by a friend. It's called 美团, but i'd like to look at other options, too. I could take two taxis, but finding two at 04:00 might be a mission or a bus the night before, but again, lugging it to the station wouldn't be fun.

Any help would be great! Cheers! Have I missed an obvious way!?

Airport bus departing from the hotel complex near xiaoximen has a pre 5am run. Should find out exact time and get there earlier as the first runs fill up. The airport bus should have enough cargo space for a bike, but not 100% positive, so best to ask about that too.

The bus from the hotel near xiaoximen leaves at 4:50AM, or anyway it did on Feb. 2.

Get a hotel for a night a few minutes away from airport. Ask them to book a taxi/s for you.
