I for one like the dancing grannies.
I for one like the dancing grannies.
@Alien, please, in order to engage an intellectual discussion and debate, one must put fourth effort and intelligent response. A 7 worded response negating an argument without providing a counter point is just adding to the background noise of blah, blah, blah, look at me, I am here, don't ignore me even though I have nothing intelligent to say, I'm lonely, come play with me....please? (with sad puppy eyes for effect)
I must ask again, why so many foreigners in this forum constantly complain about so many things in China, yet willingly stay here. They have that right, of course, but it baffles me why someone would choose to live in a country that they obviously see so many faults with, even down to the way that grannies dance. My God, there are many other countries in the world with different cultures. Why would you choose this one, then sit online all day complaining about it? Perhaps some certain posters should find gainful employment.
I kinda like the dancing grannies too, but I don't live next to one of their public dance floors, which might well be a problem. Seeing people dancing in groups elsewhere in the city doesn't bother me, nor does their music, though it's not exactly the music I get into.
@mmeddy, I am also baffled as why you keep coming back to this forum under many aliases, and I must ask again, if you dislike reading about foreigners complaining about China, why do you keep coming back?
My God, there are other forums to troll, why would you choose this one? Then sit online all day complaining about other people's complaints. Perhaps you should find a life that does not involve GoK?
On a side note, do you have gainful employment? Are you here on a Z-visa? And if so, what exactly are you doing? Is your mere working presence changing Chinese culture. English is not native the China, nor is western cooking, nor any of the other languages you speak and engage in. And if you are not here on a Z-visa and have gainful employment, are you openly admitting you are violating Chinese law? And if you don't have gainful employment, then who are you to tell others to get gainful employment. He who cannot get to work on time because "it is too far away" and didn't full fill the employment contract because the job was "too inconvenient"
Schoolyard rumours again, Tony? How childish.
Why are so many here more interested in Neddy and his posts than they are in whatever the OP is? I know the guy, he's okay, but I don't go off on his posts any more or any less than I do on anybody else's. Same for tuna's posts, Campo's posts, etc. - none of us are really so interesting on here that we need to be the focus of discussion, although to some extent many of us seem to think we should be. I'll include myself in that statement to save others the trouble of pointing it out and prolonging the pain of this ridiculous tendency.
Yes @mmeddy, perhaps mentioning those things were tongue-in-cheek, but you still have not addressed any of the real issues.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
@Alien, because mmeddy is a polarizing figure and a fun subject to pick apart. I'm only here for the entertainment value.
M-M-M-M-M-neddy,
how can you live in china with so many KFCs and Burger Kings around you? why do you constantly complain about american fast food places yet continue to live here?
why don't you move to myanmar where there are no KFCs?
Ah yes, let's bring the discussion back to Burger King. That was an epic thread for entertainment.
