Old story, but yeah. Karl Marx wasn't exactly Chinese was he. And apparently he was a piece of shit as well.
The West still has "values"?
China's xenophobia is a strange and contradictory animal. Lately, the rejection of Western influences in education is a head scratcher. The pillars of Mao Thought depend on Socialism (France), Communism (German) and Marxist-Leninist (German-Russian) all originated in Europe. A highly respected business thinker is Drucker (USA). Economic thinkers Stiglitz (USA) and Mundell (Canada) have even been given China "Green Cards." Kissinger and Bill Clinton have been paid millions to speak and, in the case of Kissinger, to consult and generate propaganda for China.
kissinger politics are closer to 1930s germany than marx
I love a birra Stiglitz
Is the question palliative or root-causal - aka is China responding to a stimulus and then being criticized for it's response, or is the country embarking on this movement sans stimuli?
Regardless - China's BRIC development bank (is that a pun?) seems to have become a hit and has begun to clearly delineate the USA's closest allies (Australia, Japan, South Korea) - but it's expected South Korea and Australia will "jump fence", now that the EU has announced it will also buy into the BRIC development bank, leaving the USA marooned with its psdeudo-aryan racist buddy, Japan.
That's why many Chinese with money are moving out of China where they can think as they wish and prosper even more. Right now it's their time to shine. Luckey dogs!
Liumingke1234, the Chinese that move away have some good opportunities, indeed.
I also feel like there is still lots of opportunities to make money for foreigners in China.
I also find that some Chinese have an unrealistic view of, say, the US. They believe it is an open land of freedom and opportunity, then when they move there, they are shocked at the very high cost of living, the excessive taxation and laws that hinder business, etc.
Just my thoughts.
Many extremely rich Chinese leave China not to make money but to keep the money that they have "made" in China.
