The North Gate (Gong Chen Lou) Burned down. Weishan is a really nice place that has not been exploited by tourists. I will go to get some pictures of the ruins.

I hear the part that burned down was 600 years old too. Very sad, especially considering how few truly ancient structures still stand in China.

The last several years have been pretty bad for fires in Yunnan's "old towns".
