I want to cook bangers and mash. I'll need some decent sausages and ideally a stock cube to make the gravy. Anyone know where I can get them?

You can buy decent frozen sausages (pork and basil etc) in Metro Supermarket on Beijing lu. Or I usually order from Jinkou.com They take cash on delivery. They also stock gravy granules.

Had the basil pork ones at Metro. I thought they were a bit bland, but in stock, affordable, and western style.

I have seen calendar postings for Slice of Heaven "Banger and Mash" day. I haven't tried, but bet theirs would be good if you felt like going out. Bite of Oz would no doubt have good sausage too (on my to eat list).

Fried up the Hormel Chorizo sausage pack from Metro. I like them better than the pork basil ones. Seems Metro go a new supplier for the pork basil, so maybe the new ones are tastier. However, they are still made by a Chinese company.
