Forums > Living in Kunming > Advice on allergies - please help!

Urine Therapy does work and I use this treatment during allergy season. Urine is great for itchy, watery eyes. I was suffering from a long bout of itchy eyes for several days. I used several eye drops from the pharmacy and paid from 6-30 Yuan for each bottle. I finally used one of the empty bottles and filled it with urine and the itching went away in minutes. Just make sure you use fresh urine in your eyes. Empty the bottle after use and rinse well. Refill with fresh urine when you need to use it again.

Is this a street or just one specific building?

This is very close to Jin Ding Temple which is located on the corner of Xue Fu Road + Jin Ding Road (#11 Jin Ding Road).

Most people love routine and walk the same way to and from their destination. When I was temple hunting a few years back I found many of these back alley locations as I was searching for a temple. Most of the temples are not big or well known and they are built and maintained by the small community they serve. Most are small island villages that are now surrounded by large built up areas but if you dont step off the main road you will never find them.

Go to Huan Cheng South Road (Big Road) then turn into Yun Xing Road (Small road) and then find Yong Ning Road (alley). This is a busy little community with many people coming out at night. They set up a market in the street and you can barely walk because it is so busy. You will notice a large area has been demolished. Looks like Hiroshima after the bombing. There you will find a single building still standing - Qing Feng An - When I was there before the destruction began I was able to photograph the small sign you see on the doors of the old houses - Lao Ya Ying Village - Fu Hai Xiang - I was here just 2 days ago and previously in March 2013. I was told the temple will also be destroyed soon but it still remains today. Although much of Lao Ya Village has been destroyed a lot of the remaining village still remains.

Another great place is right behind the Yunnan Arts College. Although a brand new gate has been made for the college on Ke Ye Road, the original main gate is actually in an alley. This alley leads to a village that is still very active and has street markets.

I live in Xi Shan District and Never had a problem with water rationing or loss of pressure. I dont understand why people continue to live where they have these problems. It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.

If ofo can throw away thousands of bikes and leave them destroyed on many city streets across China, then it must be getting (Stealing) money from somewhere.

It is impossible to run an UNsustainable business model such as this across so many cities.

Even the manufacturer of the ofo bikes should be happy to get those bikes back and repair them and then sell them back to ofo.

These bikes are littering the city streets and the city should FINE ofo for littering.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
