I have worked full time for around two years, though not at a graduate level. Will this be good enough?

I am looking for a teaching job. I have had a successful interview with one school but two others have told me that I need two years experience to get a work permit in kunming.
I have heard conflicting opinions. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I've decided on coming to Kunming to teach English for a year. Do you guys think it is best to sort everything out back home or head to Kunming on a tourist visa and sort it out there?
