I lived and studied at Keats School for nearly a year (Sept. 2010 - July 2011). Fantastic experience...very convenient way to learn Mandarin. Decent accommodations, and consistent/reliable food. I had five or six different private tutors during my stay, and most were solid instructors.

I'll be heading down to Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Phi Phi in early May...Anyone have any tips on where or where not to stay, must-see places, etc?

I am looking for somewhere to play a little table tennis...Are there any Kunming bars or rec centers that have open tables? Or is there anywhere that resembles SPiN New York, where one can book a table by the hour?
