The famous Golden Temple in Kunming is the main building of the Palace of Supreme Harmony. The Taihe Palace was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, when the governor of Yunnan at that time imitated the Taihe Palace of Wudang Mountain to build the Kunming Taihe Palace on Parrot Hill in Kunming. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, Wu Sangui rebuilt the Taihe Palace. Now there are not only Taoist places in the palace, but also the cultural relics of Wu Sangui and Chen Yuanyuan.
