Sean’s Spring Guest House is a well-known hostel, recommended by the Lonely Planet Guide in 1994 and Rough Guide in 2006, catering to international backpackers and leisure travelers interested in hiking Tiger Leaping Gorge. Located in Walnut Garden Village, the guest house was built in 1983 in an original Tibetan style, making it the first guesthouse in Tiger Leaping Gorge.The guesthouse offers cozy rooms, guaranteed 24-hour hot water, modern toilets, and en-suite rooms with bathtubs, perfect for soaking away the aches and pains of a long hike. Travelers can enjoy delicious Chinese and Western meals, as well as local specialties while looking out onto a dramatic 2000m cliff from the terrace. There are 82 beds available, including 19 standard rooms (three-star standard), 10 twin rooms, and 3 dormitories with eight beds each. A 210m² parking lot is also available.
