Does anybody know of a really good and large t-shirt printing operation here in Kunming? We're looking for somebody who can handle large orders and has proper equipment to ensure a consistent print quality, alignment, etc., as well as being able to do water-based silk screens (not the traditional hard crunchy kind, but the one that feels like it's part of the fabric.
We prefer a place in Kunming that we can deal with face to face, but other suggestions are also welcome.
Also, a place that does custom bicycle and other athletic jerseys would be great to know about.

Kunming is not really know for textiles. I would haazard a guess that 99% of the stuff in the shops here is out of Guangdong. These guys only handle large orders and are also familiar with export requirements (paperwork etc).
I would also have fewer trust issues with Guangdong ren.
Finally someone is printing the "I am Gaoxing" t-shirts! Good work Dan!
It's also fine if the shirts are made in Guangdong as long as there's someone here who we can meet face to face with and as long as the finished product will be the same as the samples.
we've used a place off dianchi rd a few times for printing business promotional t-shirts and english camp t's. they encourage you to go in person and see what quality of shirts you want, but you can also put orders in over qq.
