To be able to create a small world outside current mainstream world (media etc) and the dominant western narrative, is still highly recommended.

I doubt if it's possible to create such a world totally outside the mainstream - there will always be leaks - and anyway I don't think it's a good idea, leads to irresponsibility - as a platform from which to observe, yes, but it's still samsara, no final objectivity. As far as 'hijacked' is concerned, everything is (partly) hijacked, because everything is connected to everything else, and within 'everything' there are centers of Power - economic, political, cultural, biological...

Well, mainstream. It may need a definition, but in brief, its the overall junk poured over these days by the mainstream media in West. And the junk narrative involved there. Still not too long ago you had native americans with a very different world view.

But suspect that its just luxury to contrast the western narrative today, and a global reality is becoming more and more a human struggle. A struggle for survival. Anything outside that is luxury.

The western narrative is a bit of a misnomer. The WASPM middle class narrative might be closer. The term 'hijacking' is also a bit strong. There will always be a melding/merging of anything cultural (language, food, music, etc.) where cultures meet and are shared. Take for example the English language, which is a mixture of over 160 living languages, and a few dead ones. It does not mean that theyse languages were hijacked, anymore than Chinglish or Franglais are active incursions of other languages by English: which isn't the case.

Well, me suspect the JUNK has buried under it any 'WASPM narrative'. And the JUNK is the main player now.

And a certain 'protection/liberation' against the JUNK is another language. Even better, more languages.
