1. To all: a "troll" is someone who makes posts online just to get a reaction. I am not a troll. I may have extreme cultural and culinary views (not that extreme actually among some liberal academics), but just because my opinion is not yours, and even might be radically different than yours, does not make me a "troll". A troll would come on here and post things like, "Hey, Hitler was great!", not things like, "I really love Chinese food and hate McDonald's." The former is for a reaction: the latter is my actual opinion.

2. To Geezer: if I even remember correctly, I talked to you at Salvador's for about 5 minutes, once, three years ago. That you could write up such a complete psychological profile is amazing and actually not believable. I regret that you have such a negative view of me, but talking to someone for five minutes does not give one any real information about that person. I had an opinion of you, too, but I just thought to myself that I could not know you from five minutes, so I dismissed it as that.

3. To TonyAOC: I have not worked in a private school in a long time. While it is possible that I worked with your wife, it is also possible that you are mistaken. Also, it is possible that your wife, or anyone else, is merely passing along gossip, etc. In either case, I give you the same advice as I give Geezer: if you are so insistent on judging someone, then spend some time with that actual person, in real life — substantial time. Saying, "Oh, I heard so and so about so and so" is like schoolyard gossip among teenage girls, and it is not befitting grown men.

I am sorry that people here do not like me, but I can almost guarantee that it is because my opinions are different than the majority. I am willing to live with that. Perhaps you should be too?

There are so many more interesting things to post about than who likes who, and/or why.

laofengzi pointing out posts HFCAMPO has made recently was correct, I hadn't been on for a couple of months roughly and posted just a friendly question regarding his post nothing abusive and he gave me the reply of:
'Redjon wants to join in and play - here is the website that 5 trolls have already joined in - It was started by another little girl who was offended by a comment that was not directed to you/them'
To say he's a bloody marine so he must be good is also a bloody joke lol To many pisshead rednecks I've met with that attitude.

Dunno why I bother on here but when I have quick look at articles sometimes you think how's the forums doing and then your sucked in by the stupidity of some posts that I feel a reply worthwhile lol

tiger, I do not believe that anyone is jealous at all. I just think that some people find my views to be so far from their own, that it angers them. No one is jealous.

The reason I mention timing is because your post was at exactly the same time as this debate was going on. I understand perfectly why mandrake was upset with me - because he originated the thread and he took offense to my comment about TV + braindead. Perfectly reasonable - But I can NOT understand why a few others (Tuna, Blobbles, Laofengzi) quickly came to Mandrakes defense - My mistake - your last comment made me think you were joining in because laofengzi just finished making his viagra and penis comment whicih he has in multiple other posts. Can you see now the misunderstanding and similarity with your last comment??? My misunderstanding of your last sentence.

As I mentioned earlier, no idea why laofengzi has come to the rescue of Mandrake when Mandrake was defending himself very well. Also, a few others came on board and took Mandrakes side.

No, you posted exactly the same thing as lawlz0mg = laofengzi. Nice try at misdirection - did not work though. This is why you took up the cause to defend Mandrake and you are still at it.
