Hi, I'm arriving in Kunming in a few weeks and was wondering what the best way to get to Dali from the airport is? From what I've read going to the west bus station and catching a bus is an option but I can't find out how to get from the airport to the west bus station. If anyone could provide some help that would be much appreciated.

Bus 919 Route B1 from the airport goes to the west coach station. When you get out of the airport, walk about 30 (?) meters to the right where you'll see white airport buses, a booth and chairs outside. 13rmb.

Don't worry about booking in advance, there are buses about every half hour from early morning until at least mid-afternoon, plenty of tickets.
